Recently, the People’s Procuratorate of Guangdong Province held the appointment ceremony of special procurator to formally appoint fourteen outstanding citizens as the seventh cohort of special procurators of the Provincial Procuratorate. Our company’s general manager, Yang Ruixiong, as one of the newly appointed special procurators, was invited to attend the ceremony, where the Chief Procurator of the People’s Procuratorate of Guangdong Province, Feng Jian, granted the appointment letters to these special procurators.

The fourteen new members came from professional domains in law, science and technology, finance, education, etc., possessing deep expertise, huge influence, strong mobilization capability, and great reputation in the relevant fields. Additionally, they have served as deputies to the National People's Congress or members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

Selected by certain procedures every five years, the special procurators take their procuratorial duties in the part-time job. Their responsibilities include supervision of the procuratorial work, provision of professional perspectives, and participation in the discussion of critical and difficult cases, in the reception of visits from the public, and in the formulation of normative documents of the Provincial Procuratorate. The appointment will enable the organization to take full advantage of their insights, enhancing justice and fairness, facilitating high-quality procuratorial work, and promoting Chinese modernization through procuratorial work modernization.
